Two full days of informative sessions, many of which will offer DEC credits.  

When registering, please be sure to choose the correct cost option depending on your enrollment status with Eastern NY Commercial Horticulture and whether you will be attending one day or two.  

Walk-in registration rates will be as follows (pre-registration rates can be found to the right):

  ENYCHP Enrollee single day: $70
  Non-enrollee single day: $90
  ENYCHP Enrollee 2-day: $130
  Non-enrollee 2-day: $170

Lodging: Individual guests may call The Desmond directly at 518-869-8100 (or 800-448-3500) to book rooms at the discounted rate of $115.00 per night. Reservations must be received no later than February 9, 2020 to get the discounted rate. When requesting a room, guests may refer to the "Eastern NY Fruit & Vegetable Conference Room Block" or by referencing Block Code: FVG.

2020 Fruit & Veg Conference credits are as follows: 

  • Tree Fruit - Day 1 morning - 2.0 credits in categories 1a, 10, 22
  • Tree Fruit - Day 1 afternoon - 2.25 credits in categories 1a, 10, 22
  • FSMA - Day 1 all day - 2.0 credits for 10, 1a, 23
  • Grapes - 2.25 credits in categories 1a, 10, 22
  • Berries - 2.75 credits in categories 1a, 10, 22
  • Veg - Day 2 morning - 1.50 credits in categories 1a, 10, 23
  • Veg - Day 2 afternoon - 2.00 credits in categories 1a, 10, 23
  • Hemp - 1.75 credits in categories 10 and 1a; 1.25 credits in categories 21, 24


We are also offering a FSMA/PSA Grower Training on Tuesday, Feb 25 in conjunction with the conference.  Registration for the FSMA training is required to attend.  If you would like to register for the FSMA course, please visit: https://enych.cce.cornell.edu/event_preregistration_new.php?id=1301

2nd Annual WNY Fruit Grower Tour

We are excited to announce the second annual Western New York Fruit Grower Tour, the premier fruit tour of the northeast brought to you by Cornell Cooperative Extension's Lake Ontario Fruit Program and Lake Ontario Ag Consulting, LLC!  Located in Orleans County, this orchard field day will highlight new and existing products, chemistries, practices, technologies & equipment that shape the orchard industry today. The Western NY Fruit Grower Tour will again combine two past orchard tour events, the LOF Summer Fruit Tour and the Wayne County Fruit Grower Tour, giving industry members the opportunity to conveniently showcase their product offerings to ONE unified group at ONE time and place!

New Weed Management Technology Survey

Want to move away from herbicide reliance? Are you using novel technologies to manage weeds? We want to know about it to inform our weed science research. A team of weed scientists from University of California Davis, Oregon State University, and Cornell University are asking berry, tree fruit, tree nut, and vine crop growers to take 5 to 10 minutes and answer this short and anonymous survey.
