Host
Lake Ontario Fruit ProgramJoin us for this specialized workshop to cover requirements for this specific audit. Commercial fruit and vegetable growers are increasingly being asked to have the Harmonized GAP Plus+ audit to satisfy some large buyer's requirements. In this workshop, you will get an overview of the audit standards. Following this, you will have time to start writing your food safety plan to adhere to this audit. Even if you have a food safety plan developed for this specific audit, it would be worthwhile to attend this workshop. In addition, if you are transitioning from HGAPs or another audit, you can revise your food safety plan accordingly. You will receive a food safety plan template tailored to the Harmonized GAP Plus+ standards. Extension educators and NYS Ag & Mkts auditors will be available for help.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
